In our section 'Employee in the spotlight' we like to show which people are behind our organisation. Every day Archive-IT is committed to support organisations in the transition from a paper to a digital working environment. Besides that we develop software to guarantee safe digital accessibility. But who does what? And what are the motivations of the Archive-IT team members? Time for a look behind the scenes.
How did you end up at Archive-IT?
"I have worked in the IT sector for several years as a Key Account Manager for an international company and for employers in the SME sector. My new position as Sales & Marketing Manager at Archive-IT is a new and exciting challenge for me. The decisive factor to make the switch to Archive-IT was the completely new entrance and positioning that had to be made when it came to the German market. A very challenging task, in which we have already achieved some milestones, such as the construction of a new branch in Brüggen (NRW). I see great potential in delivering added value to our customers in Germany with our solutions. The challenges and growth opportunities within Archive-IT made the decision easy for me."
What do you enjoy most about your work and what do you get satisfaction from?
"What I like most about my job is the variety and responsibility that my role at Archive-IT brings. Not only the sales part, but also setting up marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and generate new leads gives me a lot of satisfaction. In addition, I enjoy working in a team and look forward to achieving growth. I also find it important to celebrate successes with the team."
What motivates you most in your work?
"Reaching the set goals together. It is also a great motivation to build up Germany as a valuable sales market and to convince our customers of a reliable partnership. I focus on customer friendliness, quality and innovative solutions."
Nice to know: After my former passion for basketball and football, I am also a passionate water sportsman. I like to switch off after a busy working week by kite surfing by the sea.
What does your average working day look like?
"I always have a lot of to-do's on my list. On the one hand, I'm busy building up a structure for Germany which will position Archive-IT sustainably on the German market. Here we focus on the development steps for the future. On the other hand, the conclusion of partnerships, the expansion of our network and the acquisition of new customer potential is an essential part of my work. The cooperation with the team must not be neglected, because open communication and the motivation of all involved are very important to me. So I certainly don't need to be bored!"
What do you expect from Archive-IT on the German market?
"I see a great and successful future for our solutions in Germany. Here we can benefit from the experience we have already gained in the Netherlands. Moreover, we offer a high degree of innovation in our solutions. We react quickly and flexibly to customer requirements, so that we are always moving forward with product development. In doing so, we are true to the motto: "What does the customer expect from software in the future?". Together with our customers, we look at the processes of both the physical and digital information world. I am convinced that future German customers will experience the expertise in combining these two worlds as added value and that this will contribute to the further expansion of the customer base."
