In our section 'Employees in the spotlight' we like to show which people are behind our organisation. Every day Archive-IT is committed to support organisations in the transition from a paper to a digital working environment. Besides that, we develop software to guarantee safe digital accessibility. But who does what? And what are the motivations of the Archive-IT team members? Time for a look behind the scenes.

This time Chantale Narozny is in the spotlight. Chantale is working at Archive-IT France on the Finance department. We would like to introduce her to you!

Can you tell us more about your current position at Archive-IT?

"I work in the finance department for Archive-IT. Archive-IT is located in four countries; the Netherlands, Belgium, France and Germany. I work for the French branch. I check if everything related to finance is running smoothly and if all delivered documents are complete, so that the bookings and financial processing are done correctly and on time. During my work, I have contact with both customers and suppliers. In addition, I have close contact with the other colleagues at the various branches. I am also in for Archive-IT France responsible for the implementation of the ISO 9001 certification and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)."

How long have you been working at Archive-IT?

"In a month's time I will have been working at Archive-IT for nine years now. Before that I worked in retail for five years and no less than 22 years in a company specialising in the sale of personal protective equipment. In all my jobs I have been involved in accounting, social and financial activities."

What does your average working day look like?

"The first thing I do is read my e-mails. Then I check whether everything in the financial area is still correct. Think of the bank balance or the cash flow of the company. It is very important to check this every morning to know that there are no irregularities. Then I start checking the invoices to customers or checking and registering the invoices from suppliers. No day is the same. Since I also manage the maintenance and service contracts for the building, it is important that when I arrive at work and there are problems with the electricity, for example, that this is resolved first. Without electricity, we cannot work. This variety keeps my work fun and challenging!

What motivates you most in your work?

"The variation I just mentioned is my biggest motivator. It keeps my work varied. Besides this variation, I have very nice colleagues with whom I enjoy working every day. We make a good team! It also motivates me to run through the figures carefully when it comes to budgeting and purchasing, also in order to contribute to an optimal customer experience."

Nice to know: Chantale became a grandmother two years ago. She is very proud of her grandson and loves to walk with him in nature. Chantale is also very concerned about the environment. Every day, she does her best to contribute to the best possible environment on earth. For ourselves and for the next generations.

What are your goals for yourself and for Archive-IT?

"My personal goal is that I want to continue working for Archive-IT. In a few years time I will retire, but before that I will continue to enjoy working for this great company, together with our great colleagues. Archive-IT is a dynamic organisation with a big ambition for the future, that works very motivating for me!"
