Every day Archive-IT is committed to support organisations in the transition from a paper to a digital working environment. Besides that we develop software to guarantee safe digital accessibility. But who does what? And what are the motivations of the Archive-IT team members? Time for a look behind the scenes.
This time, Amar Akhtayar is in the spotlight. Amar has been working as a Full-stack Developer at Archive-IT since October 2023. We would like to introduce her to you!
Can you talk a little about your role at Archive-IT?
"From day one at Archive-IT, it has been a challenging adventure, with a lot of exploration, discovery, and growth. My experience was in the front-end field, but now the role as a Full-stack Developer offers a very interesting perspective. Working on both sides has broadened my scope of work. The great thing about this role is the diversity of the work. I enjoy implementing different functionalities on diverse projects. In the beginning, it was a matter of learning everything and developing new programming skills. But now my work goes beyond programming; I am also involved in tasks such as document labeling and working with data. In short, Full-stack Developer is a role I am passionate about!"
What does your average working day look like?
"Every day I start my working day with great enthusiasm and motivation. As soon as I come in, I am assigned several tasks by my manager. These tasks are often very diverse and vary from front- to back-end work. I then take the time to analyze what needs to be done, how I will tackle it, and what challenges I might encounter. Then I get to work to accurately execute and implement the task according to the customer's requirements."
What makes Archive-IT the organization you enjoy working for?
"Within Archive-IT I have found myself, both personally and professionally. Discovering what I like and the opportunity to develop myself within this organization gives me a huge motivation boost. Furthermore, my colleagues are very friendly and supportive. There is a nice, calm atmosphere in our department. I feel in place and excited about this professional organization!"
Nice to know: Passionate about her profession, she prefers to spend her free time watching tutorials on the latest techniques and reading articles. To switch off, she likes to splash in the pool with her daughter.
What do you get satisfaction from while working?
"I get satisfaction from completing tasks well, which enables the customer to use the implementation in practice. Positive feedback makes me feel satisfied! Moreover, I cherish continuous growth, discovering new technologies, and learning programming languages."
