Archive-IT respects the privacy of all its contacts and visitors to its website. Any personal data you provide to us – whether via the contact page of our site or otherwise – will be treated confidentially and used solely for the purpose for which you have provided the personal data.

Purpose and Legal Basis for Processing Personal Data

The purpose of processing your personal data includes:

Personal Data and Third Parties

We will not sell your personal data to third parties. If your data is made available to third parties, this will only occur:

  • For the performance of an agreement (delivery of services and/or products). These third parties may only use the data for the execution of the agreement. Archive-IT ensures that personal data, whether managed internally or processed by a third party, is secured in a sufficiently technical and organisational manner;
  • For compliance with a legal obligation to a competent authority.

The employees of Archive-IT and third parties engaged by us are contractually obligated to respect the confidentiality of personal data and to comply with the relevant legislation.

Your Rights

The following rights apply to a direct relationship between the data subject and Archive-IT. We will never directly provide information about personal data of our clients (data controllers) who have their files managed/digitised by us. In such cases, we will always refer you to the respective data controller.

  • Right of access. The right of access means that, upon request, we will inform you about which personal data we process about you.
  • Right to rectification. The right to rectification means that if your personal data is incorrect, we will correct it upon your request. Furthermore, you can make this change yourself via our self-service in our newsletters.
  • Right to erasure. Although we do not record more personal data than necessary for the purpose, you have the right to erasure. This means that if we process too much, too little, or irrelevant personal data for the purpose of processing, and you cannot delete the data yourself, you can request us to erase it.

Cookie Policy

Archive-IT may use cookies and other similar technologies when providing its electronic services. Archive-IT uses these technologies to improve the customer experience and to personalize advertisements.

Archive-IT sometimes uses "tracking cookies." These are placed by a third party, which also performs the tracking.

Questions/comments/complaints

For the rights, questions, and complaints mentioned above regarding the Privacy Policy of Archive-IT, you can send an email to our Privacy Officer at privacy-officer@archive-it.nl, or contact us by phone at +31 (0)77 750 11 00. We will respond to your request within a month. We will inform you if there are any consequences of fulfilling your request (for example, if we can no longer provide the service according to the agreement). If we believe we have valid reasons to refuse your request, we will explain those reasons in our response

Finally, we would like to inform you that if you believe we are processing your personal data in violation of the law, we would appreciate hearing from you. We will then try to find a solution together with you to address your concerns. If we cannot resolve the matter, you may file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
