Every day Archive-IT is committed to support organisations in the transition from a paper to a digital working environment. Besides that we develop software to guarantee safe digital accessibility. But who does what? And what are the motivations of the Archive-IT team members? Time for a look behind the scenes.
This time, the spotlight is on Noud Wijngaards. Noud has been working as a Data Science & Software Developer at Archive-IT since October 2023. We are happy to introduce him to you!
Can you tell us more about your role at Archive-IT?
"Since 1 October 2023, I have held the role of Data Science & Software Developer at Archive-IT. In a nutshell, I am working daily on optimizing and improving our software solutions, as well as implementing Machine Learning. For this, we closely follow trends and developments so that we always stay ahead in our industry."
What does your average working day look like?
"My daily tasks are very diverse and vary from day to day. Currently, my focus is in the area of Machine Learning. This advanced technology optimizes information management through automated classification and labeling of incoming documents. I am involved in simplifying and optimizing this process. I am also working on integrating Machine Learning into our software. The goal is to enhance the functionality of our software and provide a seamless user experience."
What motivates you most in your work?
"There is a lot of variety in my work and many new techniques are used. It is a continuous learning process for me, which I enjoy. It also allows me to keep developing myself. In addition, the lines of communication with colleagues are short and there is a fine rapport. Here we work together as a team, all with the same goal and that motivates!"
What do you get satisfaction from during your work?
"I get satisfaction from successfully realizing software development projects. Going through intermediate steps and shaping the final product step by step creates a sense of success. It is nice to see how the application is created step by step, tested and finally successfully launched on the market.

What makes Archive-IT the organisation you enjoy working for?
"There is a nice and open working atmosphere within Archive-IT. Together we strive for progress as an organisation. During the break, we boost team spirit with a game of 30 Seconds! Furthermore, we regularly organise fun activities. In short, the drive, hard work and sociability make Archive-IT the ideal workplace for me!"
