Ev. Gerderath Children’s and Youth Centre – CIRKEL
CIRKEL is a children’s and youth centre in Gerderath that offers a varied leisure program to schoolchildren and young people from across the Erkelenz region for many years. During open hours, children, young people and young adults up to the age of 27 can come together free of charge and without prior registration to play sports and take part in group activities such as arts and crafts and cooking. Through our Social Fund, we are pleased to contribute to the continued existence of this accessible meeting place for young people.
Regenbogenland Children’s and Youth Hospice
Regenbogenland in Düsseldorf is a children’s and youth hospice that supports children, young people and young adults with life-shortening illnesses, as well as their families, from diagnosis right through to the end of life. In a warm, colourful environment, the focus is not on counting down the days, but on experiencing as much as possible together and making the most of the time that remains. Siblings and other loved ones are also always welcome. Through our contribution, we are supporting this special place of comfort for families going through an extremely difficult time.
MDL Fund
The MDL Fund is dedicated to helping the four million Dutch people who visit their doctor every year with complaints related to the stomach, intestines, liver, esophagus, gallbladder or pancreas. The fund finances scientific research aimed at preventing these diseases, detecting them at an early stage and treating them more effectively. In addition, they also campaign for a gastroenterology-friendly society, including, for example, sufficient clean public toilets. We are delighted to contribute to the fund’s mission: a healthy tummy for everyone!
Wereldklus Foundation
In the Netherlands, around 1 in 5 children grow up in poverty, often without their own bed or bedroom. The Wereldklus Foundation refurbishes children’s bedrooms in the Tilburg & Den Bosch region, turning them into safe, calming spaces, while also offering families tidying advice and support. This gives children their own little space that feels like home – something that is far from a given for them. With our donation, we are helping to create more children’s bedrooms.
Stichting Broodnodig Tilburg
For many years, Stichting Broodnodig Tilburg has been providing free bread every day to those in need in Tilburg, whilst also offering a listening ear through personal kitchen-table conversations. The foundation continues the life’s work of the well-known ‘Broodpater’ Gerrit Poels and operates entirely with volunteers, funded by donations. Through our Social Fund, we are delighted to contribute to this vital work for people who are in dire need.

These organisations demonstrate just how much of an impact dedication and commitment can have, from youth work to medical research and providing direct assistance to those in need.
