Letselschade.com is one of the largest independent personal injury firms in the Netherlands and has been advocating for victims and their families since 1990. With a team of around 30 employees, led by founder Berth Groot, Letselschade.com is committed daily to serving the interests of its clients. Their work includes assisting employees, pursuing wage recovery claims for employers, and performing complex damage calculations.

Inefficient Workflow

Within AFAS, the system used to manage personal injury cases, Letselschade.com encountered several limitations. Documents such as emails, scanned files, Word and Excel files could only be opened one at a time and often had to be downloaded first to be displayed properly. Browsing through a case file was not possible, and there was no option to export all documents at once. This led to inefficiencies when reviewing files and delays in delivering final case files to clients. Additionally, searching within case files was cumbersome and time-consuming.

Integration Between OmniView and AFAS

Archive-IT implemented OmniView, which is directly connected to AFAS via a Connector. OmniView allows all documents within a personal injury case file to be combined into a clear, digital file. Documents are automatically organized into tabs and in chronological order, enabling easy navigation. Furthermore, files can be downloaded and/or printed in full or in part. It is also possible to search within documents using metadata, significantly speeding up information retrieval.

Faster and Improved Service

Thanks to the implementation of OmniView, Letselschade.com can easily download and print complete case files or selected parts. Documents within a file are automatically and intelligently sorted in chronological order, making file navigation much more efficient. Users can also quickly find the desired document by searching metadata. These improvements result in faster and more efficient case handling, contributing to higher client satisfaction through quicker and better service.
