The Social Fund of Archive-IT donates each quarter to (local) charities, wonderful initiatives, and special actions. We are able to do this because all employees set aside a portion of their profit share, which is then matched by the management. In the third quarter of 2023, we made several donations, and we are happy to inform you about them.
Stichting de Vliegende Meubelmakers
The Stichting de Vliegende Meubelmakers is a group of volunteers who travel to Bangladesh to assist at the Centre for the Rehabilitation of the Paralysed (CRP). The CRP has been working for years to improve the lives of people with disabilities by offering therapy, education, and job opportunities. For four weeks, they share their knowledge and skills with people in Bangladesh, teaching them how to make bed couches and toys. The money is carefully spent on materials to create beautiful products.
Tijs Peeters
The biggest wish of Tijs Peeters, the son of our employee Roy Peeters, is to obtain his driver's license. Unfortunately, due to his condition, Duchenne muscular dystrophy, it is not possible for him to get a regular driver's license. However, the costs for driving lessons in an adapted car are significantly high. Therefore, Archive-IT has decided to contribute to making Tijs' dream come true!
Thomas Eeuwes – ASML Marathon Eindhoven
On Thursday, December 29, 2022, Thomas Eeuwes received the heartbreaking news that his father had been diagnosed with a rare and very aggressive tumor. Just 10 days after the diagnosis, on January 7, 2023, he lost his father to this terrible disease. After months of grief, Thomas is determined to raise a significant amount of money for KWF. Together with his sister, he has decided to participate in the ASML Marathon of Eindhoven.
Stichting Vrienden van Laurentius
Every day, Laurentius Hospital is committed to providing high-quality care to patients, but good care goes beyond just hospital services. The "Vrienden van Laurentius" Foundation strives to provide additional support to vulnerable elderly people. This includes facilities that make the hospital stay more pleasant and can promote the recovery process. These facilities fall outside the regular hospital budget but offer that extra bit of care and comfort that can be so valuable to individuals!
KiZoKa
With over 60 years of experience, KiZoKa is dedicated to giving every child the opportunity to have a fantastic vacation, regardless of their financial situation. Thanks to all the volunteers, sponsors, and friends of KiZoKa, they are able to keep costs low and offer every child the chance to experience unforgettable adventures and make new friends. The children's camps in Eindhoven, Veldhoven, and surrounding areas provide a safe environment where children from grades 3 to 8 can develop their personal and social skills!
Villa Pardoes
Villa Pardoes offers around 600 Dutch families with a seriously ill, possibly life-threatening child between the ages of 4 and 12, an unforgettable vacation experience. It provides a unique opportunity for siblings, parents, grandparents, and the child to enjoy time together and create precious memories!
