Through the Social Fund, Archive-IT has again made donations to various charitable causes, wonderful initiatives, and other special projects in the third quarter of 2024. These donations are made possible by a portion of the profit-sharing set aside by Archive-IT employees themselves. This amount is then doubled by the management of Archive-IT and donated to different causes. In this quarter, we’ve made several donations, and we are excited to share them with you!
Burger Bos
The Burger Bos is a forest where trees have a special meaning. Anyone can plant a tree to celebrate an important event: the birth of a child or grandchild, a birthday, a wedding, an anniversary, a death, or to express a life motto. The forest is located in the hamlet of Ronkenstein, in Reuver.
Schoolbusproject Herman Broerenschool
The Herman Broerenschool is a special school in Roermond for children aged 4 to 20 with developmental delays. Students learn here by gaining practical experience, both inside and outside the school. Through external internships and work projects in the Middle Limburg region, they are gradually prepared for future employment. To safely transport students to their internships and work projects, the school aims to establish a school bus.
Amsterdam City Swim
On Sunday, September 8, the Amsterdam City Swim took place in the canals of Amsterdam. The Amsterdam City Swim Foundation aims to raise as much money as possible for research into the fatal disease ALS. In honor of his aunt, who passed away from ALS, Bastin van Oers swam 2.1 km.
Het Oogfonds
The Oogfonds (Eye Fund) works ambitiously towards a society where blindness and visual impairment no longer occur. They achieve this by funding increasingly effective, patient-oriented, innovative, and promising scientific research. They also provide general information to the Dutch public about eye diseases, aiming to promote good eye health.
You too can suggest charitable causes that could benefit from a one-time donation. These will be reviewed by the Social Fund, and who knows, we may be able to help. Together we are strong! Contact us at sociaalfonds@archive-it.nl.
