The Social Fund of Archive-IT donates every quarter to (local) good causes, beautiful initiatives, and special actions. We are able to do this because all employees set aside a portion of their profit distribution, which is then matched by the management. In the fourth quarter of 2023, we made several donations, which we are happy to inform you about.
Project Samen Tafelen
The "Samen Tafelen" project, located at the Nassaurie in Grathem, will celebrate its 10th anniversary in January 2024. This initiative provides a wonderful opportunity for seniors and elderly people living alone to come together and enjoy a 3-course dinner. We are happy to contribute to their 10th anniversary and strengthen their reserve fund!
Stichting No Guts No Glory
The "Stichting No Guts No Glory" creates special musical experiences and fulfills wishes for people of all ages with cancer and their caregivers. They believe in the power of music. Everyone involved with No Guts No Glory has experienced firsthand what cancer can do to someone and their loved ones. This forms the foundation of the foundation's strength, which, with love, strives to create precious memories and provide mental support.
Flore Brummans
Flore Brummans is dedicated to helping underprivileged families in the Municipality of Beesel! During Sinterklaas, she was able to provide a small gift to no less than 169 children. It's wonderful to see how she strives to bring a smile to those children's faces. Through her efforts, Flore demonstrates that with a little love and attention, a big difference can be made. We are happy to support her in this endeavor.
Van den Noort - Make-A-Wish Business Challenge
The Make-A-Wish Foundation fulfills the wishes of children aged 3 to 18 who have a serious, sometimes even life-threatening illness. On November 6, 2023, Van den Noort participated in the Make-A-Wish Business Challenge. This challenge provided a wonderful opportunity to grant two children's wishes while simultaneously raising funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. On behalf of the Social Fund, we contributed to help make even more children's dreams come true.
Gemeente Beesel | Dierenbescherming
The Municipality of Beesel organizes an annual collection to raise funds for the Animal Protection Society. The Animal Protection Society works towards an animal-friendly society, where the well-being of animals is as natural as that of humans. They do this through high-quality animal assistance, education, awareness campaigns, and influencing policies. Their goal is to prevent animal suffering. If animals are in need, the Animal Protection Society is there to rescue and care for them.
Vakantie Voor Iedereen
The Stichting Vakantie voor Iedereen (Holiday for Everyone Foundation) has been dedicated to people with disabilities in Rijsbergen for 60 years. They organize various activities, ranging from outings to fun bingo evenings and opportunities for interaction with artists. Additionally, every three years, they take 70 people on a short, well-deserved vacation.
Stichting met je Hart - EET met je Hart
Together is so much more fun than alone. But for many elderly people, companionship is not a given. The Stichting Met je Hart (With Your Heart Foundation) literally helps them cross the threshold. They invite lonely elderly people over and over again, so they can enjoy beautiful moments together. They focus on creating quality and lasting connections, because only in this way can loneliness be alleviated, and elderly people can regain a zest for life.
Stichting Oké Roerdalen | Sinterklaasactie
Stichting Oké Roerdalen is committed to helping people with limited financial means. One of their many initiatives is the Sinterklaas afternoon on December 2, 2023. No less than 105 children eagerly awaited a gift from Sinterklaas. On behalf of the Social Fund, we contributed to ensure that we could bring a smile to all the children's faces during the visit of Sinterklaas and his helpers.
Stichting LeefALSlili
Stichting LeefALSlili organizes inspiring events such as WandelALSlili & SpeurALSlili with the goal of raising as much money as possible for ALS Netherlands Foundation. The driving force behind these events is the personal motivation stemming from the story of Lilian, a dear friend who was diagnosed with ALS in 2019. Despite the heartbreaking news, Lilian shows determination and has taken the initiative to raise awareness about ALS, especially among young people. The mission of Stichting LeefALSlili is focused on directly and indirectly enhancing the quality of life for people diagnosed with ALS: Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis.
Voedselbank Oosterhout
The Food Bank in Oosterhout collects high-quality food items and distributes them to families who are struggling financially. In addition to food, families can also find clothing and household goods. This contributes to the fight against poverty and helps reduce waste. The families can rely on the Food Bank for a listening ear and receive support. The Social Fund contributes with a valuable donation.
Stichting Behoud en Beheer Keramisch Erfgoed Jac. Bongaerts
The foundation, established in 1998, preserves the ceramic heritage of Jac Bongaerts. His pottery and tiles are currently on loan to both the Ceramic Center Tiendschuur and the Dutch Tile Museum. After Jac's passing, an annual 4-meter long ceramic Limburg village is displayed, including a nativity scene. In 2026, the foundation will organize an exhibition and publish a book.
Stichting Princesse Margot
The Princesse Margot Foundation, based in Paris, is dedicated to supporting children with cancer, with a mission to provide assistance during the challenges of the illness. Princesse Margot organizes various activities to bring moments of joy and relief to children in hospitals. Additionally, they have launched and financed several initiatives to improve well-being and support research against childhood cancer. For example, they set up decorated Christmas trees during the holiday season to bring a bit of festive cheer.
