In our section: ‘Employee in the Spotlight,’ we’re pleased to showcase the people behind our organization. Every day, Archive-IT is committed to supporting organizations in the transition from a paper-based to a digital working environment. In addition, software is developed to ensure secure digital accessibility. But who does what? And what drives the employees of the Archive-IT team? Time to take a look behind the scenes!
This month we would like to introduce you to Hein Boots!
Hein, Can You Tell Us About the Progression of Your Current Role (and Any Previous Roles)?
"At the moment, I hold the position of ICT Project Manager at Archive-IT. In this role, I coordinate all commercial ICT projects within the company. Additionally, I maintain regular contact with our partners both nationally and internationally. Prior to this, I was ICT Manager for many years, during which I not only handled my current responsibilities but also led the software division. Due to my involvement in software development, I am still a member of the CAB (Change Advisory Board), where I help advise on the urgency and prioritization of features and products to be developed."
What Does Your Average Workday Look Like?
"A large part of my time is spent converting our JIM clients to the Virtual Archive. In this process, we need to work together with the sales team to convince JIM clients of the benefits of the Virtual Archive. I have daily contact with the clients, account managers, and internal colleagues. Furthermore, there is currently a lot of communication with our partner in France, who is working on acquiring new ICT clients and transitioning existing JIM clients. Many French clients are just now making the switch to digital work, so they are a few years behind the Netherlands in this regard. In addition, I regularly spend a day on the road to convince clients of the advantages of our approach and methodology."
What Motivates You the Most in Your Work?
"The most important motivations for me are the variety of contacts and the diversity in the work. I enjoy achieving success together with my colleagues. This can be different things, such as a satisfied client or a successfully secured project."
Why Do You Enjoy Working at Archive-IT So Much?
"I enjoy working at Archive-IT because of the great colleagues and the good working atmosphere."
