In our section: ‘Employee in the Spotlight,’ we love to showcase the people behind our organization. Every day, Archive-IT works to support organizations in transitioning from a paper-based to a digital working environment. Additionally, software is developed to ensure secure digital accessibility. But who does what? And what motivates the employees of the Archive-IT team? Time to take a look behind the scenes.

This month we would like to introduce you to Thibault Djelloul!

Can You Tell Me a Bit More About Your Role at Archive-IT?

"My role within Archive-IT is as a Consultant in a technical capacity. Archive-IT is an international company, with branches in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and France. For the French branch, I ensure that our software functions properly for our clients. This includes setup, installation, and all communication related to these tasks. Additionally, I assist clients when they have technical questions."

How Long Have You Been Working at Archive-IT?

"I have been working at Archive-IT for a year and a half now. When I no longer felt at home in my previous role in Sales, where I had to establish and maintain new client relationships, I decided to take a different direction. With my affinity for technology and software, I made the switch from Sales to IT. The position that was open at Archive-IT really appealed to me. I now face many challenges in my work and am happy that I made this move!"

What Does Your Average Workday Look Like?

"I always start my day by checking emails. Additionally, I spend a lot of time helping our clients by answering questions and providing software support. I check if everything is working properly and often have installations that need to be completed. I also try to stay up to date by attending various training sessions. At the end of the day, I always analyze whether all tasks have been carried out correctly."

Nice to know: Every morning, before Thibault begins his work, he prepares a mate tea. Mate is a South American tea drink. It is made from an infusion of the young leaves and buds of a mate plant.

What Motivates You the Most in Your Work?

"What motivates me the most in my work is customer contact. The great thing is that I can directly add value for our clients, allowing them to work with our solutions with satisfaction. I also really enjoy the technical aspect of my job, such as working with data, solving technical issues, and I love showing our clients how our software works. What motivates me the most, however, are my colleagues. We work together as a team, and we have fun doing our work, which is the most important thing."
