The Social Fund of Archive-IT donates every quarter to (local) good causes and nice initiatives. We are able to do this because all employees set aside part of their profit share, and the management doubles this amount. In the first quarter of 2021, we made various donations, which we are happy to inform you about.
Stichting Onbekende Helden
Foundation Unknown Heroes focuses on veterans who have contributed to global peace, security, and national freedom. Through the Unknown Heroes network, they assist veterans in their search for work. They also aim to start a societal discussion about the recognition of veterans within Dutch society and the business world, as well as engage in interactions to create broader support for veterans.
Stichting Signi
Foundation Signi uses search dogs to locate missing persons, both for individuals and for authorities and governments. They specialize in using dogs to search for drowned individuals and to locate missing persons in disaster areas. With 54 volunteers and 5 search dogs, they have already located 420 people!
Hert veur Beesel
Hert veur Beesel was initiated by entrepreneur Wilco Muller from Reuver and the center manager of the municipality of Beesel. On Valentine's Day, they raised awareness for local entrepreneurs in the municipality of Beesel. Listeners could request songs from Omroep Peel and Maas, supporting local businesses. Due to the coronavirus and the ensuing lockdown, entrepreneurs were heavily affected. Businesses were forced to close or work under specific guidelines. Archive-IT contributed to all participating businesses.
Stichting No Guts No Glory
Foundation No Guts No Glory makes wishes come true for people with cancer and their caregivers. They strongly believe in the power of music, so many of the wishes are musical in nature. These include home concerts, concert and festival visits, purchasing musical instruments, and arranging music lessons. Ambassadors for the foundation include Raven van Dorst and Michiel Veenstra.
Patrick Gregoor
On Saturday, March 27, Patrick Gregoor from Reuver participated in the Last Man Standing Orango Run. The idea was that each participant would run a 6.7 km lap from their own home, with a new round starting every hour. Who will be the Last Man Standing? The first round started at 5:00 AM, and the last round at 8:00 PM. Patrick did this for the benefit of the Foundation Kidzbase, which works in the region to provide children who are going through tough times with a fun day.
You too can suggest charitable causes that could benefit from a one-time donation. These will be reviewed by the Social Fund, and who knows, we may be able to help. Together we are strong! Contact us at sociaalfonds@archive-it.nl.
