The Social Fund of Archive-IT donates quarterly to (local) charities and meaningful initiatives. We are able to do this because all employees set aside a portion of their profit share, which is then doubled by the Archive-IT management. In the first quarter of 2023, we made several donations, which we are pleased to share with you.

Boy Vluggen (Maastro) - Marathon van Londen
On April 23, Boy Vluggen, Head of Finance at Maastro, will take on the London Marathon. It’s a sporting challenge with a special mission: to raise as much sponsorship money as possible for cancer research at Maastro. This support is urgently needed, as in the Netherlands, 1 in 3 people are still diagnosed with cancer, and the number of people living with or after cancer continues to rise.

Together with her colleagues from Lenovo, she will be participating in the Alpentocht hike to support the CliniClowns foundation. Jing - School at Sea
Jing, 15 years old, lives in Roermond. He has only 6% vision due to albinism. What others can see clearly from 10 meters away, he can only see from less than 1 meter. From the autumn break until the May break, he is sailing with School at Sea and about 35 other young people on the tall ship Thalassa to the Caribbean and back. During the journey, they continue their schoolwork and dive deeper into self-chosen topics, both on board and during expeditions on land.
